I am very excited and very honored to be a part of the new Because It’s Everybody’s Business campaign that Microsoft has kicked off today. As a part of the campaign, I will be blogging regularly on the TechNet along with a number of other Experts from the Microsoft community. You can keep up with all the experts here, or you can see what is going on in the world of System Center here. I hope you find time to join us as there will be great information regarding the many new products and technologies that Microsoft will be releasing over the coming year.

Just a little experiment on my part.

I have blogs on both Live Spaces and WordPress. I’m curious to see which, if either, gets the higher number of hits, as well as higher search results. Once I get a feel for the results I will move to just one blog on a permanent basis.

Welcome to my Space Blog. I’ve been working in the IT industry for many a year, most recently in Tulsa. I work very closely with many different Microsoft products and technologies, so that is where the bulk of my time and writing will fall. I hope that there will be at least a few people who will find this information of use, and I appreciate any and all feedback.

There are really 2 reasons that I wanted to start blogging:

1. There is (in my opinion) a real lack of good information, whether in books and on the Internet, regarding how to use Microsoft’s products to run a secure, efficient, high-quality network infrastructure.

2. I have worked for years with Microsoft’s newest and greatest software releases and I hope that by sharing my experiences and advice regarding these products you might have an easier more enjoyable experience using them yourself.

The latest products I have been working with are the new generation of System Center management products as well as Windows Vista and Office 2007.

Thus the birth of this Space.
